The Lives We Touch

The Katkari tribals are one of the most marginalized and backward communities. They are one of the few primitive tribes in the country.

OUR INTERVENTION

We partner with NGOs which work with tribal women Self-help groups (SHGs) in Raigad in their skill and capacity building. SHGs are trained in making food products from fresh locally sourced raw materials and we proudly market their products. 75% of the proceeds go to the Self-help groups. The women SHGs have become entrepreneurs! They now earn a sustainable source of income and live a life of dignity.
