Sales Associate (Retail Marketing) Course

Navjeevan Social Enterprise Foundation along with its partner organization conducts a Sales Associate (Retail Marketing) Course through which participants learn about interacting with customers and executing service and product demonstrations. The course covers all technical skills and soft skills with particular emphasis on professional behavior, etiquette, verbal and non-verbal communication. The approach is interactive, where the participants learn by doing. The sessions are theoretical as well as practical. On completing the course, the participants will be proficient in executing the duties of a sales associate in a retail setting.

Home Appliances Repairs and Electrical Course

We try to bring new light into the lives of the youth and women belonging to the unskilled workforce of Mumbai and Raigad district through our Home Appliances Repairs and Electrical Course. The course is based on a simple principle: you can’t make something work again if you never knew how it worked in the first place. It covers a guaranteed, easy-to-learn method for troubleshooting, how basic electricity and circuits work. The name and function of appliance components, including those in modern, computer-controlled appliances, and more. The method is interactive, where the participants learn by doing. On completing the course, the participants will be skillful in performing repairs and electrical jobs.

Tailoring Course

Navjeevan Social Enterprise Foundation is guided by the vision of experienced professionals in tailoring with the intention to fill the gap between industries’ requirement and skilled manpower through its Tailoring Course. The participants will learn to sew, mend or alter garments, made-ups, and home furnishing. The course contents drafting patterns and cutting fabric, setting machine controls and sewing, quality check and alterations, health, safety, and security in workplace and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and tools. On completing the course, the participants will be capable at tailoring and becoming an entrepreneur.

Computer Literacy Course

We understand there is an urgent need for digital means to reach out to the tribal communities with connectivity and access in Raigad district. The course intends to upskill and train youths to harness the full potential of digital platforms and tools to learn new ways of doing business, explore and connect with different markets. The course includes an awareness module coupled with hands-on training modules aimed at teaching how to use the Internet, including through mobile devices and tablets. On completing the course, the participants will be capable of being digital savvy.
